I loved the space noir vibes I got from him. Leviathan Wakes - Miller was my favorite character in this. I just love everyone who is introduced in this one.
THE EXPANSE BOOKS UN SERIES
At the time it felt like a great call-back to her sister, but she's been in the series far longer than Julie ever was.ĥ. Abaddon's Gate - Really love the introduction of Clarissa Mao. Elvi is an underrated POV character and I'm glad she was the one who studied the BFD (BFE)Ĥ. Tiamat's Wrath - We finally started to understand the protomolecule engineers and those who destroyed them. And Marco Inaros is the best villain of the series.ģ. And the fact that the destruction of earth happened kinda off-screen was an incredibly bold decision that paid off. After wall, what is the saying, we don't truly die until all those who knew us die, too.Ģ. Also even characters who had died earlier in the series managed to have codas to their arcs in really beautiful ways. James Holden had the most James Holden ending ever. But it also found ways to tie up emotional beats that were present from the start of the series. Leviathan Falls - I think some of the themes of the series came to focus in this book. Thank you for taking the time to share it!! <3ġ. U/towns_, I hope you don't mind, but I've reformatted your comment for ease of viewing. Persepolis Rising - I was really worried for the end of the series when I read this as this and the previous book didn't seem to be moving the plot forwardīabylon's Ashes - I literally don't remember the plot of this It does feel like it wound up being key to the endgame, though.

Sad to see him die in the first one but he showed back up in other guises later on.Ĭibola Burns - I really enjoyed this one upon first read, but it just gets overshadowed by how great the ones above it are. And Marco Inaros is the best villain of the series. After wall, what is the saying, we don't truly die until all those who knew us die, too. I was googling to see if anybody had posted this and am absolutely flummoxed nobody has responded to you.
